Thon fundraising rankings

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – This past weekend, THON took place, a 46-hour dance marathon that fundraises for childhood cancer. After a countdown that resulted in dancers crumbling to the floor after 46 hours, the total fundraising amounts were announced.

There are several different categories for fundraising, and each category displays the top five fundraisers. Ranking first place is a coveted title that many organizations and committees strive for throughout their year-long effort.

This year, the amount raised for THON 2025 totaled $17,737,040.93. This beat last year's fundraising record by hundreds of thousands of dollars, as 2024’s total was $16,955,683.63.
