Matt Stone and Trey Parker’s musical creation, “The Book of Mormon,” would be a bold choice for a musical-to-movie adaptation but one that could certainly pay off massively.

The musical has been a hit since its release in 2011 pushing boundaries on the stage and now it is time for it to push boundaries on the big screen.

The duo are no strangers to movies, having previously released critically acclaimed theatrical films such as “South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut” and “Team America: World Police.”

It has been many years since they created a film and a perfect way for them to return would be a film adaption of their hit musical.

It would be a great way for these incredible songs and the absolutely hilarious jokes within this musical to be seen by a much larger audience.

Bring back Andrew Rannels and Josh Gad from the original Broadway cast to reprise their roles and Matt and Trey would have a hit on their hands.
