On Dec. 4, I learned that August was my coastal grandmother's permanent wave folk rock moment. It was a huge moment for me.

My top five songs were all Olivia Rodrigo, with healthy servings from both “SOUR” and “GUTS”.

Did my Spotify wrapped surprise me? No, it was all expected. I spent the first half of the year experimenting with Taylor Swift albums, and if I was an Apple Music user, I'd bet a strong price that “Red (Taylor’s Version)” or “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” was my most listened to album of the year.

Some other artists making appearances in my top five were The Sundays, The Beach Boys, and Bruce Springsteen. -Sketch Morton
