“Silver Lining” - Laufey

“Silver Lining” marks Laufey’s first release in 2025. She dropped a snippet of the song on March 23, which got fans very excited. This song is the first single to be released from a full album that Laufey will be releasing at some point later this year.

This is a love song about being comfortable enough with a partner that you are able to be yourself. It is a classic-sounding Lauvey song that is no doubt by her.

Laufey’s ability to craft modern music with classical jazz elements is always impressive and provides for a nice listen. She consistently delivers a refreshing sound to the music industry.

A music video featuring a variety of extravagant costumes was released alongside the song.

While the song isn’t anything particularly new from what is expected from the singer, it is still extremely good and gives a lot of hope for the inevitable full-length album. - Noah Vickery
