Singles Round-Up: "Come Jesus Come"

“Come Jesus Come” by CeCe Winans and Cody Johnson

CeCe Winans re-released “Come Jesus Come” with country sensation Cody Johnson earlier this week, and I can’t get enough of it.

“Come Jesus Come” is about wishing Jesus would come back to take the pain, suffering and hurt away from the world – feeling down, but having the strength to go on because you know Jesus loves you.

Winans’s rendition of the worship song is powerful on its own, and adding Johnson puts a whole new layer on the song.

I think Johnson has the best voice in country music; I would listen to him recite the dictionary if I could. With his addition to Winans’s track, it blends country and worship perfectly. - Adrianna Gallucci
