Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner

Apparently, Joe Jonas will “hesitate” to give Sophie Turner custody of their children.

Jonas and Turner decided to untie the knot earlier this month, releasing a joint statement about their separation on Instagram.

This came as a shock to many Jo Bros fans who became invested in the seemingly perfect relationship, especially after the two welcomed their second daughter last year.

On Sept. 21, it was announced that Turner was suing Jonas for “wrongfully detaining” their daughters. Turner claimed she didn’t know Jonas planned to divorce her until it came out in the media, and he actively prevented them from moving to England with their mother.

That night, Jonas talked about being a parent onstage at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, right before performing the song “Little Bird.”

While Jonas Brothers fans have remained loyal to Jonas, a majority of the public has sided with Turner in this celebrity breakup.

Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn

If someone considers themselves a “Swiftie,” they know where they were on April 8, 2023. The day the world found out it was “Joever”

Despite Taylor Swift’s countless awards, commercial successes, records broken and timeless music, many are quick to dismiss her legacy due to her dating history.

However, after a streak of bad boyfriends and great music, Swift seemingly struck gold with an up-and-coming actor, Joe Alwyn, as the two dated for over six years.

The relationship was almost entirely private as Swift and Alwyn never even walked a carpet together, only really being spotted with one another by paparazzi. This relationship coincided with Swift’s step back from the public due to scandal and a global pandemic.

Alwyn seemingly inspired some of Swift’s best work and even has writing credits on tracks from albums “folklore,” “evermore” and “Midnights.”

Swift and Alwyn constantly had rumors of an engagement or marriage swarming around them, but that clearly wasn’t true as the pair split very shortly into Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour.

While the story seemed to paint the picture of an amicable breakup, a bonus song, “You’re Losing Me,” only available on physical CDs of the “Midnight’s (The Til Dawn Edition),” makes the split seem much more tragic than once believed.

Kaitlyn Bistrowe and Jason Tartick

Kaitlyn Bistrowe and Jason Tartick have officially joined the ranks of "Bachelor Nation" breakups. After an impressive four-year journey, this "Bachelor" couple has decided to part ways. What's remarkable about their story is that they emerged from different seasons of "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette," and their love story began most unconventionally – on a podcast where they discovered an instant, profound connection.

In a world where "Bachelor Nation" relationships often face skepticism, Bistrowe and Tartick stood out as a couple who defied common perceptions. They shared their relationship's highs and lows with the public, displaying unwavering support for one another as they navigated their careers in the public eye. Their commitment to transparency was a cornerstone of their relationship, but it's undeniable that the pressures of the spotlight can strain even the strongest bonds. They frequently emphasized that effective communication was the bedrock of their connection, making it all the more challenging to see this chapter come to a close.

"The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" series are notorious for their roller-coaster relationships, but they're by no means guaranteed to fail. Many viewers have grown disenchanted with these shows, believing that they prioritize entertainment over genuine love.

True love does exist, but the process of finding it within the context of these reality TV shows is fraught with challenges. Meeting and spending every day with someone in such a highly orchestrated environment can be overwhelming and may not always lead to authentic connections. After leaving the show, the shift from a shared experience to living in separate states can be daunting.

Though Bistrowe and Tartick's romantic journey has taken a different turn, they've expressed their desire to remain friends. Yet, as many of us know, maintaining a friendship after a romantic relationship can be a complex and emotional process. Sharing a home and responsibility for beloved pets adds another layer of complexity.

In the end, the decision to part ways and break off their engagement has left devoted "Bachelor Nation" fans with heavy hearts, as we witness the conclusion of a relationship that once seemed destined for a fairy-tale ending. – Olivia Anderson
