Scott Conklin wins Pennsylvania 77th Legislative District, gets re-elected
Democratic incumbent Scott Conklin has won re-election in Pennsylvania’s 77th Legislative District, defeating Republican challenger Marie Librizzi.
Conklin secured 18,325 votes to Librizzi’s 11,582 votes, winning by a margin of 6,743 votes. Conklin won with 61% of the votes in Centre County.
The 77th District covers parts of Centre County, including both rural communities and urban areas near State College. Townships in the district include Rush, Hutson, Worth, the borough of Port Matilda, Taylor, Halfmoon, Patton and Ferguson Townships.
