Bachelor In Paradise - Week 4

Bachelor in Paradise always tends to heat up, and this week was no different with the drama with the guys heating up this week. With the women having the roses in the upcoming ceremony, tensions began to rise in all episodes.

The episode started on a sad note, as Sam was forced to leave paradise due to her ongoing stomach issues. This left Aaron S all alone on the island and with no ability to have time to connect with anyone else.

The week started with only 10 men and seven women, but two more guys were added to the pool with John Peter and John B both coming to paradise looking for love. John Peter arrives first and is nervous, but after a conversation with Olivia, he uses his date card to ask Olivia on a date, who happily accepts the invitation.

The date hurts Peter, who was starting to feel a true connection with Olivia. The date between John Peter goes great and Olivia and him make out after their very intimate massage date.

John B arrives and asks Eliza out, which scares Aaron B who was falling for Eliza on the island. The date with John B. goes well, but Eliza returns and reunites with Aaron B., which starts to heat the two love triangles forming in paradise.

In a last-ditch effort for Brayden, after he feels betrayed by Kat, he stabs Sean in the back by talking to Rachel and saying Sean isn’t interested in her. This causes a huge rift between Brayden and Sean and splits the guys a little as well.

Everyone's favorite bartender, Wells, adds even more drama by unveiling the truth box where everyone can write anonymous statements about how they feel. This gets real steamy and Aaron S causes chaos by breaking the box and reading all the spicy truths in the box.

Aaron S and Kat have a big fight about what happened with Brayden, as well as Brayden and Rachel making out, much to the dislike of Sean.

As Sean and Aaron S pray for help in paradise, a mystery girl walks down the steps leading to a great cliffhanger ending leading to what should be an exciting week 5. - Adam Sheetz

“The Kardashians” Season 4 Episode 3

By this point of the season, these sisters are pulling at teeth to remain interesting. This episode does not stand out at all, practically blending in with episode two.

This episode has the same plot line for Kim Kardashian, that she’s really a girl boss and not just an Instagram model. She begins to talk about the entrepreneurial investment she's making and the conference she’s speaking at about her business work.

Kim has never heard of legitimate business attire, as she audaciously wears latex pants to this conference. And the pants rip all across the back. Kim, if you really were the girl boss you claim to be, you wouldn’t have your whole rear end out at an entrepreneurship conference.

Corey Gamble celebrates his birthday in this episode and we are blessed with surprise guest Kylie Jenner. This portion of this episode is mundane, but we get a glimpse of Kylie claiming she's the “happiest she's ever been." Fans are hoping to get some boyfriend Timothée Chalamet content in the upcoming episodes.

Overall, this episode was not sensational at all, and this show's redeeming feature might be Timothée Chalamet. - Grace Bowman

“Mad House” Season 1 Episode 1

Everyone, please give a warm welcome to Abby Lee Miller, who is back on television screens. Although Miller has been through the wringer, she is stronger than ever and is determined to make a wildfire comeback with her new show “MadHouse."

“MadHouse” is being produced by the network “Brandon TV," and this is their first-ever reality TV show. “MadHouse” is completely different from any season of “Dance Moms," and honestly this is refreshing and new. “Dance Moms” was a hit show, but a ninth season of the same competition team drama would be redundant and disappointing.

The format of this show is extremely intriguing, to put it in the kindest words possible. The opening half of the episode is the audition of 20 dancers aiming to be the final six and move into the madhouse. These dancers range from 18 to 24 years old and they are bad. They looked atrocious and borderline untrained.

I honestly empathize with Miller as she cringes and holds back her anger, it is clear that the producer of “Brandon TV” did not prioritize getting skilled and impressive dancers for this show.

The final six dancers are named by Miller, and one of the girls is Hannah Collin who actually was on season nine of “Dance Moms." Collin states that she doesn’t think her prior relationship with Miller will help her much on this show.

As the six dancers move into the madhouse, it’s announced they’re doing one big sleepover in Abby Lee Miller’s home. Who came up with this idea, and who let this happen? That concept is insane. - Grace Bowman

Survivor - Season 45 Episode 3

A wild tribal council with an unexpected ending changed the outlook of Season 45 for the better.

The episode started with Lulu returning from another tribal after voting out Brandon. Sabiyah Broderick gave Emily Flippen her shot in the dark back to exemplify trust, but Flippen was confused about the vote count since only three votes were cast in a five-person tribal council.

She asked Broderick and the rest of the tribe about this, to which no one confessed about Broderick not having her vote, leaving Flippen confused and feeling on the outs.

The next day, Drew Basile and Austin Li Coon team up to attempt to find Li Coon’s idol. However, Basile was caught digging by Julie Alley and Dee Valladares, and he handled the situation horribly by walking away after he was caught.

Basile and Li Coon had to do some damage control and share Li Coon’s idol clue with the women, to which they agreed to help find the idol despite their suspicions.

Alley and Valladares found the next clue and shared it with the men, who went on to find a unique idol that (spoiler alert!) went on to play a huge role in this episode’s tribal council.

Li Coon’s idol had a stipulation that it was only good for his next tribal council. If he were to sacrifice his vote at the next tribal he attends, the idol would gain power until “all the players are on the same beach.” (Notice how it did not say merge.) If he were to sacrifice another vote at the second tribal he attends, it would become a normal idol, usable up until the final five.

Lulu shockingly won the reward challenge, and with it came the chance to raid another tribe’s camp. They elect to send Kaleb Gebrewold, who decides to raid the Reba tribe.

Gebrewold uses this opportunity to talk with each member of the Reba tribe and form connections and trust with them. He was given the Goodwill Advantage that he would have to give to someone on his camp raid. The advantage would allow the user to recuperate a vote if they for some reason do not have one.

He decides to give the advantage to Basile after Basile tells him about his Safety Without Power advantage.

Lulu once again loses the immunity challenge, sending them to their third tribal in as many episodes.

While Gebrewold was on his camp raid, Broderick shared her plan with Flippen and Sean Edwards to target Gebrewold due to his strong social game and physical prowess.

However, Flippen was not on board with this plan. Gebrewold helped her during her early season struggles as the outcast of the tribe. She also still did not fully trust Broderick after the vote count mystery.

Broderick had the tribe's Beware Advantage, but could not access her idol since it was encased in wax. Since her tribe could not win a challenge and had no access to flint as a result, she had no way to burn away the wax and therefore did not have a vote.

Broderick had the idea to bring the encased idol to tribal with her and burn it in the fire in the middle. This led to her being forced to tell Flippen about her Beware Advantage.

Flippen went and told Gebrewold about Broderick’s plan to blindside him, and he was put in a difficult situation on whether or not to trust Flippen, who he believed was the easy vote.

Broderick’s wax-burning plan worked, and she regained her vote at tribal as well as the accompanying idol. However, right before she went to vote, she read the parchment sharing the stipulations about this idol.

Broderick decided to risk her vote, believing that Flippen was desperate enough to save herself and vote out Gebrewold.

The other scenario would’ve been Flippen voting for Broderick, Gebrewold voting for Flippen and Edwards voting for Gebrewold. This would’ve caused a three-way tie, leaving Edwards to cast the deciding vote (most likely Gebrewold.)

However, Broderick’s risk ended up costing her, as Flippen convinced Gebrewold he was the target and the two of them voted for Broderick. Losing her vote meant that two votes were enough in a four-person tribal, and much to her shock, she went home with an idol that could have saved her in her pocket.

The amount of factors playing into this vote, from Broderick’s idol dilemma to whether or not Gebrewold believed Flippen, made for an intense and thrilling tribal council.

Player of the Week- Emily Flippen, Lulu Tribe. Watching Flippen go from an outcast on her tribe to facilitating a very unexpected blindside was a drastic turn of events for the outlook of her game. Gebrewold owes Flippen his life in the game, and the two could go on to have a very strong alliance. However, with the preview revealing that there will be a tribe swap next episode, the potential Flippen-Gebrewold alliance is in doubt if they are not put on the same tribe.
