"The Bachelor" Season 28 Episode 11

This is the last week of Joey’s season of “The Bachelor,” and this finale episode definitely went down in history.

The main chunk of the episode is the last date between Joey and the final two girls, Kelsey A. and Daisy.

Daisy and Joey went on a spiritual date in a cave, with little talking and lots of meditating. In Daisy’s talking head she talks about how she’s feeling unheard and hurt, and she's extremely emotional.

During dinner, Daisy tells Joey she loves him, and he simply says “That is nice to hear.” Honestly, viewers were appalled by this and at this point, we understood what was taking place.

Kelsey A. and Joey have a romantic date the next day massaging each other and making out the entire time. A completely different vibe than the date with Daisy.

During dinner with Kelsey A., Joey completely reaffirms her and basically tells her not to picture life without him. It is so blatantly obvious that Joey has a real connection with one of these girls, and it's not the girl with a floral name.

Finally, the day of the proposal happens, and here is the event the series has teased all year long as “historical” and “never before seen.”

Daisy seeks consoling from Kelsey A. and goes into her room and genuinely asks her what Joey has told her. Right then and there it becomes extremely clear that Daisy is not going to be picked.

On the car ride to the proposal spot, the two girls are in the car together. Everyone around the world gasped and immediately took to X because that was monumental for “The Bachelor” franchise.

The outcome plays like this: Daisy dumps Joey, he cries, then Joey proposes to Kelsey A. and she says yes.

In the live show portion of the episode, it is obvious that there is no bad blood between Daisy and Joey. It is also so clear that Kelsey A. and Joey are deeply in love, and actually might get married one day.

The end of the episode announced the next bachelorette, and fans everywhere were hoping that Maria would walk out. However, Jenn walked out. Jenn is the next bachelorette, the first ever Asian-American bachelorette.

As disappointed as viewers are that it wasn’t Maria, they are thrilled to see more inclusivity on television and are so excited for Jenn.
