"The Bachelor" Season 28 Episode 7
This episode of “The Bachelor” has to be the most jaw-dropping, edge-of-your-seat, anxiety-inducing television episode there is in existence today.
This is the last episode before “hometowns,” marking the official narrowing down to four women who Joey is falling in love with.
Obviously, audience members have their guesses as to who they see reaching the finale of “The Bachelor,” however the route to get there has to be the most shocking.
The episode takes place in Jasper, Alberta, Canada which is absolutely beautiful and stunning. It is announced that Joey will have two one-on-one dates and one group date.
The two girls for the one-on-one are: Daisy and Kelsey A. This leaves Jenn, Rachel, Kelsey T and Maria for the group date.
This whole episode there is one recurring theme: Jenn is pissed off and “deserves a one-on-one.”
The one-on-one with Daisy is actually quite adorable, as they go horseback riding and hot-tubbing. During the dinner Daisy admits that she can see herself falling in love with Joey, but as of the past five weeks that is an unachievable expectation for her.
Fans on X were applauding Daisy for her honesty, and thanking her for voicing how she genuinely felt about “The Bachelor” show timeline and the expectations of the women. Most fans felt it to vocalize that they also noticed a friend vibe only between Joey and Daisy.
The second one-on-one was with Kelsey A, and they went on a polar plunge. Honestly, this date was uneventful and unmemorable, however, the couple seemed to have a lot of unexpected chemistry.
The group date was fine, with some lumberjack work and ax-throwing, and as usual awkward tension between the women.
During a private moment with Maria and Joey, Maria starts saying things that are so wild. She announces that she can’t handle Joey kissing other girls and she wants to go home. Girl, do you know what show you signed up for?
Later at the cocktail party, it is announced that there actually won't be one and that Joey has already made up his mind. Now this is where audience members start moving towards the edge of their seats.
The roses are announced and “hometown” dates are revealed: Daisy, Maria, Rachel, and Kelsey A.
