Reality Roundup: Jan. 26
“The Bachelor”
This Monday, Bachelor Nation swooned as Joey Graziadei took over the mansion with 32 women vying for his heart.
Graziadei left last season of "The Bachelorette" with a broken heart after being Charity Lawson’s runner-up, but he captured the hearts of fans with his calming demeanor.
After the final rose, Graziadei undoubtedly got a “glow up,” and was announced as this year’s Bachelor.
The premiere episode of Season 28 had all the ingredients of an entertaining reality dating show — a villain was established, multiple women embarrassed themselves with outlandish introductions and a fan-favorite already snagged the support of Bachelor Nation.
A crazy twist in this year’s season is a set of sisters both competing for a ring, Lauren and Allison from Philadelphia (Graziadei himself is from right outside of Philadelphia).
He caught on to their relationship when both women admitted they were from Center City, and share an eerily similar face.
This season of The Bachelor already feels different than recent seasons, and that can be attributed to Graziadei.
He emphasized multiple times how he understood the women’s nerves, and just wanted to make them feel as comfortable as possible when they talked one on one.
His down-to-earth approach to the show is a breath of fresh air, and it’s clear that he’s “there for the right reasons” and not just for fame.
