“Vanderpump Rules” - Season 11 Episode 1

What reality show could have possibly had a bigger 2023 than “Vanderpump Rules” and the infamous “scandalval?”

When news broke that Tom Sandoval was cheating on his girlfriend of 11 years, Ariana Madix, with their friend Rachel “Raquel” Levis, the world tuned into “Vanderpump Rules” to see the drama go down.

The first episode, post-”scandalval,” was highly anticipated, but most of the episode was filled with clips that were teased in the special that recapped the first ten seasons. Any viewers who have seen that will likely be somewhat bored from the episode.

This episode set up many plot lines that are yet to unfold. Lala Kent’s alliance with Madix but sympathy for Levis being labeled a “homewrecker.” Katie Maloney and Madix are opening their own restaurant, Tom Schwartz trying to balance his friendship with Sandoval and the rest of the group and Sandoval and Madix still sharing a home.

“Vanderpump Rules” clearly has a drama-filled season ahead of itself; the first episode was far more set up than actual content. Patience is a virtue, and fans of “VPR” know to wait for all this season has to hold.
