Reality Roundup: "Beast Games" Episode 9

In the penultimate episode of the series, the remaining ten players were tasked with voting six of them into the final game. The players were placed in different rooms with telephones and each round they could call the other players to strategize.

The twist is the money they got from the last challenge could be used to bribe the remaining players.

After the first round, all the players unanimously agreed to vote for player 947 to the final round with all the players under the belief that she was the one who played the game with the most integrity and thus was the most deserving to go on.

The next player to advance was player 831, a well-liked player already who bettered his chances by sending money over to the four other players who got less money than him from the last challenge.

During the next round, there was a clear sentiment among the remaining players that player 830 should be the one to advance as throughout the entire game, she played a leadership role and through that, she built trust with the other players.

The next round is where the bribery aspect comes into play as shown through player 947. Player 947 was able to advance by giving away $15,000 to the other players, the majority of which she got from player 830 the previous round.

The fifth player to advance was player 974 who was able to advance by deceiving the other players.

He promised three of the players his vote but in the end, he threw his votes on a player he knew no one else would vote for to ensure that he would receive the majority of the votes.

In the final round, the players rushed to call other players in an attempt to get their votes. However, one of the players, player 424, was left out the calls made were if she had no shot.

But fortunately for her, staying off the phones and out of the drama came to her advantage as she was able to win the vote by one and became the final player to qualify.

With the final six players set in stone, the remaining players said goodbye to the city where they had played the majority of the game and made their way to the place of the final round.

The players were brought into the room where at the center was the $5,000,000 that the players had fought the entire game for.

Mr. Beast then shocked all the players and the audience by bringing in another $5,000,000 into the room.

He then said that if one of the players offered to flip a coin and it landed on tails then the prize pool would be upped to $10,000,000. But if it landed on heads, then the player who flipped the coin would be eliminated.

After much deliberation from the contestants, player 974, the one who got there through deception, decided to test his luck and flip the coin.

In the next episode it will be revealed whether the coin landed on heads or tails and with it being the finale, the winner of “Beast Games” will also be revealed. - Nikolai Wagner
