Reality Round-Up: “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” Season 5 Episode 16 “Burn Books, Revisited?”
Receipts, proof, timelines, screenshots, f**ing everything.
While Heather Gay provided that iconic line in the famed season four finale of “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” this time around, it was her “burn book” idea that provided another explosive ending to Bravo’s hottest show.
The housewives' final day on their trip to Puerto Vallarta, which had been a tumultuous trip up to this point started with a lunch of “Lisa” to thank the tequila mogul for planning this trip.
As it has gone all season, Lisa and Whitney were at odds when Whitney accused Lisa of leaving tags on her clothes to return them after she wears them on lavish trips.
Later at dinner, Meredith asked Whitney to continue the season-long mystery of who planted stories in the press, if that was even what happened.
Heather took this heated moment to have the women each find the worst text they had ever to try and get it all out on the table, forgive each other and move on.
When it seemed like progress was being made among the women, the ongoing loathing between Lisa and Whitney put any healing to a halt.
When Whitney’s “worst text” was a salacious rumor about Lisa and her husband, Lisa fired back with a rumor that she had heard about Angie’s husband, trying to explain why she was so furious about this conversation.
Naturally, Lisa refuses to hear Whitney’s explanation. Angie throws a flower arrangement at Lisa, resulting in the crew rushing in to separate them and Lisa and Meredith storm away from the group.
Executive producer Andy Cohen has stated that this season’s reunion is one of the best in Bravo’s history and given the lack of closure this finale provided, fans are going to want to hear what each of these women have to say for their antics all season.
