Peter Mangione named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week.

For the second time this season, Peter Mangione has been named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week.

The senior and four-year starter captures the award for the fifth time in his collegiate career for his impressive play during last week's fixtures.

Mangione made two appearances last week, scoring Penn State's lone goal in their 2-1 loss against Rutgers on Tuesday. The senior followed up that performance with a goal and an assist in Penn State's 4-0 win over Michigan on Sunday.

The senior is amidst a four-match goal-scoring streak, all of which has come against conference opponents.

Next up for Mangione and the rest of the Nittany Lions is a match against Detroit Mercy at Jeffrey Field on Wednesday, with kickoff scheduled for 6 p.m.
