Penn State dominated West Virginia in its season opener, coming away with a 38-15 victory. However, the Nittany Lions remained the No. 7 team in the AP Poll.

Although the blue and white’s ranking remained the same, several changes occurred within the top ten. No. 4 Florida State has jumped up four spots after defeating then No. 5 LSU, who plummeted down nine spots and are now ranked as the No. 14 team.

LSU wasn’t the only program that dropped out of the top ten as No. 25 Clemson fell to Duke and dropped 16 spots.

Here’s a look at the new top-10.

  1. Georgia
  2. Michigan
  3. Alabama
  4. Florida State
  5. Ohio State
  6. USC
  7. Penn State
  8. Washington
  9. Tennessee
  10. Notre Dame

Penn State returns to Beaver Stadium on Saturday when it faces off against Delaware at noon.
