Penn State gains commitment from three-star running back Tiqwai Hayes

All good things come in threes, and that’s no different for Penn State.

After shutting out Iowa 31-0 on Saturday, the Nittany Lions gained a commitment from 2025 four-star linebacker DJ McClary on Sunday, and they continued to add pieces for the future on Monday.

The blue and white earned a commitment from three-star running back Tiqwai Hayes.

He chose Penn State over Pitt, Ohio State, Michigan, West Virginia., Maryland, Cincinnati and Michigan State.

The Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, native ranks as the No. 349 prospect nationally and the No. 10 player in Pennsylvania, per On3.

Hayes is the second running back in the Nittany Lions 2025 class as he joins four-star KiAndre Barker.

The blue and white now have four commitments in the 2025 class, and the class ranks inside the top 10.
