Paul Takac re-elected, wins Pennsylvania 82nd Legislative District

Democratic incumbent Paul Takac has won re-election in Pennsylvania’s 82nd Legislative District, defeating first-time Republican candidate Therese Hollen with 53.70% of the vote (16,384 votes) to Hollen’s 46.30% (14,127 votes).

Takac, who has represented the 82nd District since 2023, brings over 30 years of legislative experience to his role.

The 82nd District includes the townships of Burnside, Curtin, Liberty, Snowshoe, Unionville, Boggs, Howard, Marion, Benner, College, parts of State College, and Harris, as well as the boroughs of Snowshoe, Howard, Milesburg and Unionville in Centre County.
