NFL Props: Week 8

Week 8 of the NFL season is officially here, and that means another opportunity to grow our bank accounts. Here are my favorite picks to help you pay rent this week:

Najee Harris Over 61.5 Rushing Yards vs. New York Giants

This is my favorite pick of the week. Harris has hit this line in five of his seven games this year, and he's been over 100 rushing yards in each of his last two games.

He also has a great matchup this week, as the Giants are allowing 138.1 rushing yards per game.

With all the momentum on his side, Harris should cruise past this line.

Sam Laporta Over 32.5 Receiving Yards vs. Tennessee Titans

The Lions are going to be without their second-leading receiver this week, as Jameson Williams was suspended two games for violating the NFL’s PED policy.

Laporta has been off to a slow start this season, but losing Williams might be exactly what Offensive Coordinator Ben Johnson and the Lions needed to get their star tight end going.

Even with his slow start, Laporta has hit this line in four of his six games. His target share should increase this week, and he should be over this line by the third quarter.

Bijan Robinson Over 65.5 Rushing Yards vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

With the Buccaneers missing Chris Godwin and Mike Evans, I expect the Falcons to build an early lead and control the time of possession in this one.

This likely means more rushing attempts for Robinson, who usually hits this line without the added volume.

Robinson has hit this line in four of seven games this year and should roll past it again this week.

Evan Engram Over 50.5 Receiving Yards vs. Green Bay Packers

Since coming back from a hamstring injury suffered in pregame warmups in Week 2 two weeks ago, Engram has been Trevor Lawrence’s favorite target.

Engram has 15 targets these last two weeks, and he’s caught all of them for 137 yards. His matchup is also favorable, as Green Bay isn’t too good at covering tight ends.

In a game where the Jaguars should be passing early and often to keep up with Jordan Love and a dynamic Packers offense, Engram should have no problem racking up at least 51 yards.

Davante Adams Over 57.5 Receiving Yards vs. New England Patriots

In a must-win game to keep their season alive, Aaron Rodgers should be peppering his new (old) favorite receiver with targets this week.

Adams should also know New York’s full playbook now, which should make things between him and Rodgers more seamless.

Going against an awful Patriots team, this should be a get-right game for the Jets offense. I expect them to win and Adams to crush this line.
