Herbert throwing the ball

NFL Prop Betting: Week 7

Week 7 is upon us, and it’s once again time to look at the player props for the upcoming slate of games.

Here are the players I think can help the bank accounts.

Justin Herbert: Over 196.5 passing yards vs. Arizona Cardinals

Herbert will be going up against a struggling Cardinals defense that allowed Jordan Love to toss four touchdowns for 258 passing yards last week.

I think this is a safe bet to place. The Cardinals rank towards the middle of the pack in total passing yards allowed, leaving Herbert wanting to take advantage of a defense that is mediocre against the pass.

Xavier Worthy: Over 36.5 receiving yards vs. San Francisco 49ers

Worthy has become a top target for Patrick Mahomes, alongside JuJu Smith-Schuster and Travis Kelce.

After the Rashee Rice injury, we will be able to see if Worthy is “worthy” of filling in for the injured wideout.

Bad puns aside, I think that the rookie can take the top off of the 49ers for some big splash plays, putting him over the prop.

Daniel Jones: Over 199.5 passing yards vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Believe it or not, Daniel Jones is not playing as badly as people are making it out to be.

Jones hasn’t thrown for under 200 passing yards since Week 1 and has been doing it in the absence of star rookie Malik Nabers.

Nabers has been out since the Giants played the Cowboys on Sept. 26th. He has returned to practice and is making good progress towards a return.

For me at least, I haven’t trusted the Nick Siranni-led Eagles at all despite all the talent they have on both sides of the ball.

I predict the Eagles will play down to their competition, allowing Jones to make some cash for betters.

Najee Harris: Over 49.5 rushing yards vs. New York Jets

As a Steelers fan, I feel very confident about this pick. Albeit it was against a Raiders defensive line without Christan Wilkins, Harris showed why he was a first-round draft pick in 2021.

Najee rushed for over 100 yards for the first time this season, displaying his ability to gain tough yards after contact.

Harris popped up on the injury report on Wednesday, but it seems to be a minor rib injury.

If the fourth-year back is available to play this week, this prop should be a slam dunk.

Jameson Williams: Over 46.5 receiving yards vs. Minnesota Vikings

As a Jameson Williams fantasy owner, I am putting this in here for good luck.

Williams has only had one performance under 70 passing yards, which was a nine-yard performance against the Cardinals.

Other than that game, the Alabama product has produced quality receiving stats week in and week out, and I think it will continue against a Vikings team coming off a bye week.

Minnesota ranks towards the bottom of the league in passing yards allowed, making Williams a prime candidate to continue his strong season; as well as winning this bet.
