NFL Mock Draft Picks 1 through 10: Food Mascots
As the NFL draft creeps closer and closer, people continue to make mock drafts about who should go where and who should be the number one overall pick in the draft.
I wanted to make my own mock draft, but I didn’t want it to be any normal mock draft.
What if the best college football players were replaced by some of the most famous food mascots that represent some of the most popular food brands in the world.
Which food mascots would leave it all the line in hopes of winning it all and who deserves to be the coveted 1st overall pick?
Here are the top 10 overall picks in an NFL Mock Draft full of some of the most popular and iconic food mascots to ever live.
No.1: Jolly Green Giant: WR
The Jolly Green Giant is the 1st overall by a large margin. He’s 55 feet tall and there’s no way anybody is gonna ever be able to tackle.
All the quarterback has to do is throw it up to him and it’s basically a house call every single time. He’s also all about vegetables and will have a balanced diet that will keep him healthy all year long.
No.2: Tony the Tiger: QB
Tony the Tiger is known for being one of the greatest athletes of all time. He’s known for playing numerous sports such as football, basketball, soccer and so many other sports.
He’d be the franchise quarterback on most NFL teams as he is 6 feet 3 inches tall and super strong.
Tony the Tiger has a college football bowl game named after him which shows his influence on the game and the influence he will have on the NFL.
No.3: Kool-Aid Man: DT
The Kool-Aid Man is known for breaking through walls which will make it so easy to break through the offensive line and sack the quarterback.
Not to mention how huge he is and his energy is through the roof. He’s a great leader and is all about never giving up and having zero negativity, especially when he says “Oh Yeah!”
No.4: Chester Cheetah: RB
Chester Cheetah may not be the tallest or the strongest but if he breaks free, it’s an automatic touchdown.
He can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3 seconds which means that nobody will be able to tackle him. They may not even see him running because of how fast he is.
No.5: Jack Box: S
According to Jack Box’s drivers license, he is 6 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 195 pounds which will allow him to pick off many passes unless he’s going up against the Jolly Green Giant.
He understands that sport very well as he was the coach of the Carnivores which shows his knowledge and love for the game.
No.6: Ronald McDonald: QB
Another top quarterback prospect that would be the leader of the team just like he’s the head of the McDonald’s franchise.
Very athletic and built for the starting spot at quarterback. His rivalry with one of the next picks in this mock draft will feed families for years to come.
No.7: Grimace: EDGE
Back-to-back McDonald’s picks as Grimace gets picked right after Ronald. Grimace is a pretty flashy prospect with a very high ceiling as he really has burst onto the scene over the last few years.
Getting sacks won’t be an issue for him as he will use his famous Grimace Shake to get past the offensive and get to the quarterback.
No.8: Hank (Buffalo Wild Wings): DT
Another top prospect that had climbed the rankings over the last few years. As a buffalo, he’s meant to stampede for a living so running over the offensive line won’t be a problem.
The only thing we won’t be able to do is use his wings and fly which I don’t even think would be possible considering how massive he is.
No.9: Burger King: QB
The Burger King is another top quarterback in this mock draft. He’s a true leader, especially since is a king and will lead his teammates to victory against any opponent the team faces.
We already know that the rivalry between the Burger King and Ronald McDonald is huge, but bringing that to the NFL will just make the rivalry 10 times bigger which will be infinitely entertaining.
No.10: Quicky (Nesquik): WR
Quicky is an unreal athlete despite his height and weight. He’s a rabbit and can run faster than every player in the NFL except for Chester Cheetah
He’s a wide receiver because he’s got hops and can go up for any ball and probably come down with it. His versatility is something that most NFL scouts should be looking at since he can run and catch very well.
While there are many other prospects that can be considered, these 10 mascots top the list because of their athleticism and influence they will have on the game.
The rivalries, the plays and the leaders that this class has will bring a whole new audience to the NFL that will bring the league to a whole new level.
