NFL Betting Week 7
The Week 7 slate of NFL games presents a startling number of challenging lines. It could prove to be the most exciting week in the NFL so far this season, but the betting choices are rigorous.
Here are my picks for teams to cover the spread this weekend.

Jacksonville Jaguars (+1.5) at New Orleans Saints
This may be the biggest lock of the week.
The Jags go into New Orleans on Thursday night riding a three-game winning streak while the Saints have lost three of their last four games, including a disappointing loss to Green Bay and a 26-9 loss at home to the Buccaneers.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-2.5) vs. Atlanta Falcons
No need to overthink this one, the Buccaneers are a better team than the Falcons.
The Falcons offense relies heavily on the run game, and Tampa Bay is the No.7 defense in the NFL against the run, so the matchup isn’t favorable for Atlanta.
Los Angeles Rams (-3) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
Pittsburgh has relied on defense to win games, and the Rams' passing attack could pose a threat to that strong Pittsburgh secondary.
The receiving trio of Cooper Kupp, Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell has carried the Rams to a 3-3 record, with the losses coming to three good teams: the 49ers, Eagles and Bengals.
Cleveland Browns (-2.5) at Indianapolis Colts
Don’t be fooled, The Browns are going under the radar as one of the more impressive teams in the NFL this season. With their only losses coming from divisional matchups, they have quietly cruised to a 3-2 record and are coming off an impressive win against the 5-1 49ers.
With Indianapolis being without Anthony Richardson, this is a great spot for Cleveland to showcase their stout defense; one of the league’s best.
Buffalo Bills (-8.5) at New England Patriots
Many people will be picking the Patriots to cover in this game because of the eight-point spread at home, but this is a perfect spot for a Bills blowout.
Buffalo is coming off a loss against the Jaguars in London and a last-second win at home against the struggling Giants. This game is a great opportunity for the Bills to get back on track and win in commanding fashion.
Green Bay Packers (-1.5) vs. Denver Broncos
Denver is the worst scoring defense in the NFL, they allowed a team to score 70 points and have allowed the most yards in football. Their only victory comes from a 31-28 win against the Bears in a game where they trailed 28-7.
The Green Bay offense starts with Jordan Love and Aaron Jones. It’s an offense that’s more than capable but hasn’t had an explosive outing since Week 1. Facing up against the worst defense in the NFL, and the return of Aaron Jones, it could be a showcase for the Packers offense.
