NFL Betting Conference Championship Week

By Austin Moran

The following article contains information that is not representative of the opinions of CommRadio. It solely expresses the opinions of Austin Moran.

It is conference title week in the NFL and people want to make some money.

With that being said, here are the best bets for Sunday’s conference championship games.

Saquon Barkley Over 125.5 Rush Yards: -114

It seems like blasphemy to bet the under on a Saquon Barkley rushing prop because the man just seems to break a big run every single game.

The Eagles have racked up their wins by sticking to the ground game, gaining early leads in games and riding the run game to close out ball games.

I think it continues against Washington’s defense who gave up 201 on the ground in Detroit a week ago.

Take Barkley over 125.5.

Josh Allen Over 47.5 Rush Yards: -114

Josh Allen averaged 37.3 yards on the ground during the regular season but that number has seen a drastic uptick since the postseason began.

Allen seems to rely on his legs more in the playoffs, averaging 52.4 per postseason start.

That number once again increases when Allen plays the Chiefs, as he averages 56 rushing yards a game against them.

This seems like a no-brainer considering Allen’s track record on the ground against Kansas City.

Take the over on rushing yards.

Travis Kelce Over 69.5 Receiving Yards: -114

Even though Kelce had his lowest career receiving total since 2015, Kelce has once again proved to be Patrick Mahomes’ most reliable postseason target.

Kelce continued his postseason dominance by hauling in seven of his eight targets last week for 117 yards and a TD.

Kelce also broke Jerry Rice’s record, surpassing 100 yards in nine postseason affairs and has cleared 70 receiving yards in 14 consecutive playoff appearances.

I fully expect the tight end to once again show up in the big moment this Sunday against Buffalo, so take over 69.5 receiving yards.

Zach Ertz Over 3.5 Receptions: -114

This bet might be the toughest one due to Zach Ertz’ production this season.

Ertz has had a decent 34 year old season with 66 catches for 654 yards and seven touchdowns.

In last week’s divisional round matchup against the Lions, Ertz hauled in five balls and found the endzone in the win.

The prop is set at 3.5 and Ertz has surpassed that total in three of his last four games. He has also been the main man over the middle for Quarterback Jayden Daniels.

This is risky but Ertz being back in Philadelphia just makes it seem like he’ll have a big game with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line.

A.J. Brown Under 60.5 Receiving Yards: -110

I don’t even know where to begin with A.J. Brown.

Brown has basically been useless the last three weeks catching just six passes over that span.

Brown’s under has hit in the last three games and I don’t see it changing for this one.

The Eagles love to run the ball whether it be Barkley or Hurts and I believe they will have a big game on the ground.

Brown’s 60 receiving yards combined over the last three games makes me want to stay as far away from this bet as possible.
