“Nadie sabe lo que va a pasar mañana”- Bad Bunny Album Review
The Puerto Rican superstar known as Bad Bunny, has officially become the most-streamed artist globally on Spotify for the past three years, and the release of the new album continues to surprise his fans.
Bad Bunny has always been known for his trap and reggaeton music that withholds an impact on his listeners. His new album “nadie sabe lo que va a pasar mañana” was recently released and has been a blast for fans. “Benito” as fans call him is known for making songs about heartbreak, parties and entertainment.
This new album showcases a new edition of his music by making trap tracks. The album kickstarts with the song “NADIE SABE” which talks about fame and misconceptions. This song shows how people from the outside will never understand what being famous is like. He states in this song, “Y hasta te desean la muerte / Pero yo no, yo sí les deseo buena suerte” which translates to, "And they even wish you death / But I don't, I wish them good luck instead." It transmits that he doesn't let hateful comments bring him down which is what his fans like about him.
Other tracks like “TELEFONO NUEVO” have some references to him hating being famous. He shows his audience the different sides of himself, and that it's okay to love what you do and hate it at the same time.
Aside from these emotional tracks in his album, he also introduces some reggaeton featuring other famous artists. He hits the flame with his partnered song “HIBIKI” with the Mexican artist Mora, with already more than 9 million streams on Spotify. He also released “PERRO NEGRO” with Colombian artist Feid. The title of this song references a known bar in Medellin, Colombia, which fans really enjoyed.
He finishes his album transitioning to his original romantic ballads, heartbreaks and parties in tracks like “BABY NUEVA," “SEDA," “NO ME QUIERO CASAR," “WHERE SHE GOES” and “GRACIAS POR NADA." In these songs, he expresses his feelings of regret toward women he has opened up to in the past, but he has been able to find other women he enjoys having fun with no commitment.
The versatility of this album has kept the listeners engaged throughout the whole album and fans can't wait to see him on tour starting February 2024.
