“Happy Gilmore 2”

Adam Sandler, better known as “America’s Dad,” is coming back for more golf and laughs as Happy Gilmore in what will be the second movie of the series. Almost thirty years after the release of the original “Happy Gilmore", Netflix will continue the story years later to see if Gilmore still has what it takes.

There will be a few familiar faces, such as Virginia, Otto and Shooter McGavin, but also some new characters played by Ben Stiller, Bad Bunny and Travis Kelce. Golf fans everywhere should be excited to see features from inspiring players like Rory McIlroy, John Daly and Scottie Scheffler. Of Course, fans will also be seeing Sandler return in his iconic Boston Bruins jersey as the film’s trailer shows.

The trailers and teasers show Gilmore to be making a long-awaited comeback to the sport of golf. This comes with the revival of old Happy Gilmore jokes and a new dive into what his “Happy place” now looks like. While everybody is excited to see how the legendary story continues, the trailer almost makes the story seem like a reboot. This film will bring back a nostalgic comfort with humor and adventurous storytelling.

Netflix claims that the film will skip theatres and debut right from their platform on July 25th, only being exclusive to their subscribers. This is unfortunate to hear for non-Netflix users who will keep their fingers crossed for later releases. This is part of a deal that Sandler has made in association with Netflix and further extended in the past few years. - Jessica Goldstein

“Squid Game” Season 3

Season 3 of “Squid Game” will be released on Netflix on June 27. It has been announced as the final season and will surely tie up loose threads from the other two seasons.

Season two left on a major cliffhanger, with seasons two and three being created simultaneously.

The final season will hopefully have a satisfying payoff to everything that has been built up and will hopefully deliver more on what fans love about the show.

New games have already been teased, with fans speculating what they could be.

It will be a short wait, as in a little less than two months, everything will be revealed, and the show, one of the most popular shows in Netflix history, will be concluded. - Nikolai Wagner

Love Island USA Peacock

“Love Island USA” Season 7

“Love Island USA” will be back with a bang this summer with Season 7.

The “Love Island” franchise has been around for years, but the series reached a newfound level of fame with season six last summer. Fans have now been long awaiting the official announcement of season seven, and it is finally here.

“Love Island” follows a group of singles as they go through twists, turns and relationship-testing challenges during their quest to find love.

It’s one of the only reality dating TV shows that actually seems to be genuine, for the most part.

Due to the show’s rise in popularity within the past year, fans can expect a season that is better than ever, though it will be hard to top the firepit scene in season six when the boys return from Casa Amor.

Iconic “Vanderpump Rules” star Ariana Madix will be back hosting season seven of the show after thriving last summer and quickly becoming a fan favorite personality.

Summer would not be the same without “Love Island USA,” but don’t worry, it will return to Peacock on June 3 at 9 p.m. EST.
