Meet Shamak Agarwal, Penn State's newest internet sensation

By Joy Donald

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State class of 2027 student Shamak Agarwal recently went viral on the popular short-form video app TikTok. Agarwal is known to create day-in-my-life videos, a popular form of content that showcases what an individual does throughout the day with timestamps and snippets of the action.

Agarwal showcases usually one event out of his day, with his most popular videos being his day in my life at the popular sorority Alpha Phi's spring formal, where he showed himself dancing and having fun.

Agarwal was invited to Sigma Chi and Zeta Beta Tau for their annual State Patties celebrations, where students dress in green in a Saint Patrick's Day way, and falls between Penn State's THON and spring break every year.

His videos show the fun and exciting parts of being a Penn State student and what life is like for him as an Indian student in the USA.
