"Loki" - Season 2 Episode 3 Review

There is a lot to unpack in the most recent episode of “Loki," so let’s break down everything we can to get all the details and possible foreshadowing that the third episode brought us.
In this episode, we are taken to 1868 Chicago where Miss Minutes and Ravonna Renslayer have a package for a young boy. Turns out, this boy is a young variant of “He Who Remains”, and the package? A TVA guidebook.
This variant goes by “Victor Timely”, and later on in the episode, Loki and Mobius arrive at the same Chicago scene, not finding anything. Then they decide to jump to 1893 to find themselves at the famous World’s Fair.
It’s here where Renslayer looks to create a new beginning for herself, for Loki and Mobius, it’s a chance to finally catch the rogue Miss Minutes and fix the fracturing timeline.
Our characters arrive at a show where a now older Victor Timely is demonstrating a machine to a large audience. A machine that was created with the help of the TVA guidebook.
Timely is seen as an innocent and harmless man throughout the episode, but later on, we will learn that there’s a side that we might not be able to trust.
Guess who shows up? Sylvie does, and she has the same goal she told Loki in an earlier episode, kill the variant of “He Who Remains." Loki just wants Timely to help fix the timeline.
After a foot chase and altercation with Loki over Timely’s custody. Timely escapes with Renslayer and Miss Minutes to talk.
As the group takes a boat to get to Timely’s lab, Renslayer and he have a heartfelt talk about everything. Suddenly, Renslayer is cut off and dropped into the water, betrayed, as Timely and Miss Minutes continue to the lab on their own.
It was that moment when we caught a glimpse of “Kang”.
At the lab, Miss Minutes stated that she started to develop feelings for “He Who Remains”, and wants to be more than just artificial intelligence. Miss Minutes wants a physical body.
Renslayer and Sylvie show up and again, Timely is in the middle of another multi-person conflict. Now both of them want Timely dead.
Sylvie yet again has Timely at machete point but buys into Loki’s plan and lets him go through the time door with Mobius and our main character.
She might have had a change of heart and realized that her plan is probably not for the best anymore, especially if she wants to live a different life.
Sylvie now has the machete turned towards Renslayer, and since Renslayer wants a spot at the top, Sylvie drops her at the End of Time, where last season ended.
Miss Minutes and Renslayer are back to working together, but this time Miss Minutes has some secrets that could make Renslayer very angry.
