Waltz in Tribute to Len Goodman

Though it was only last season, this beautifully choreographed waltz will definitely go down in history as one of the most memorable and best moments on “Dancing with the Stars.”

On Season 32 during “Most Memorable Year” night, current and past pros performed a waltz choreographed by Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson in memory of the late Len Goodman.

Goodman was head judge of DWTS for 17 years and touched the hearts of many, which is why the tribute had everyone both in the ballroom and at home feeling emotional.

The pro pairs danced amidst a blanket of fog to an instrumental of “Moon River,” a song so perfectly chosen that Goodman loved it.

It was one of the most heartbreakingly beautiful dances to ever be performed on the show and even landed Chmerkovskiy and Johnson an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Choreography.

It’s impossible to look away whenever this dance pops up on social media, but it is also impossible not to cry.

Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach’s Halloween Dance

During “Horror Night” on Season 30 of DWTS, NBA all-star Iman Shumpert and his partner Daniella Karagach performed a contemporary dance that lives in fans’ minds rent-free.

The spine-chilling dance was performed to “I Got 5 On It (Tethered Mix)” and was inspired by the 2019 thriller “Us.”

Karagach perfectly encapsulated the movie through her choreography and used Shumpert’s height and strength to incorporate terrifyingly amazing moves into the performance.

Shumpert and Karagach proved to be an unbeatable duo when they were crowned as the Mirrorball Champions during the Season 30 finale.

Of course, their remarkable Halloween dance landed them four 10s from the judges and will definitely go down as one of the best performances on the show.

Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd’s Inspiring Tango

Season 22 of DWTS brought one of the most memorable celebrities to compete: American model and actor Nyle DiMarco, who happens to be deaf.

DiMarco and his partner Peta Murgatroyd made it to the finale of Season 22 and ended up winning the Mirrorball trophy, but not before delivering some of the most inspirational and emotional dances in DWTS history.

Learning ballroom dance as a celebrity with next to no dance experience is already a challenge, but not being able to hear the music raises the extremity levels immensely.

Murgatroyd took her choreography to the next level with their Argentine tango to “Unsteady” during week nine, having DiMarco wear a blindfold for a portion of the routine.

DiMarco showed absolute greatness, hitting each step with Murgatroyd by his side showing the insane amount of trust between the two.

It was a monumental moment that fans of “Dancing with the Stars” will never forget.
