Tyler, The Creator has just announced that his eighth album, “CHROMAKOPIA,” will be releasing on Monday, Oct. 28th. That's right, on a Monday opposed to a typical Friday release. The Grammy-winning musician’s last full-length album, “Call Me If You Get Lost” was released in 2021, making this his first full-length project in three years.

On Wednesday, October 16th, Tyler seemingly out of nowhere dropped a new single titled “St. Chroma.” This left fans with a lot of questions about the potential for a new album to come soon. Only one day later, Tyler announced the official release date of the album as well as the official album cover art.

This album is breaking a trend that Tyler has been following throughout his entire career of releasing a new album every two years during an odd year. This sudden album news comes as a pleasant surprise as many anticipated new music from him in 2025.

This release will be just in time before Tyler’s annual music festival, Camp Flog Gnaw, which will be held from Nov. 16-17. He is expected to perform music from “CHROMAKOPIA” live for the first time at the festival.

Fans were quick to realize the voice of Daniel Caesar on the single “St. Chroma,” which poses further questions as to who else can be expected to be featured on this album.

Tyler has also already made limited edition merchandise bundles available on his website. These bundles contain items such as CDs, hoodies, hats and more.

It is currently unknown whether or not any more singles will be released before the official date of the new album. All that is known is that Tyler wrote, arranged and produced all of the songs himself. With little information in general, there is much to look forward to and hope for. Get excited!
