Cris Dush wins Pennsylvania 25th Senatorial District
Incumbent Republican Cris Dush has been successfully reelected as a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate by winning the majority of votes in the 25th Senatorial District of Pa.
Dush defeated Clinton County businessman and Democrat William McGill with Dush receiving around 67% of the vote.
The Pennsylvania State 25th Senatorial District includes parts of Centre and Jefferson counties, and all of Cameron, Clinton, Elk, McKean, and Potter counties.
Dush did particularly well in Potter and Jefferson counties, where he received more than eighty percent of the vote.
The closest race in a county was in Centre County. In this county, Dush overtook McGill, but only by garnering fifty-three percent of the vote. Centre County has shown to be an outlier with other nearby counties when it comes to voting patterns.
Dush will remain in the Pennsylvania State Senate where he has been a member since being elected in 2020.
