Chase McLane sidelined for remainder of season for Penn State Men's Hockey
Senior forward Chase McLane is out for the remainder of the 2023-2024 season for Penn State, according to head coach Guy Gadowsky on Monday afternoon.
McLane went down in a heap behind Minnesota’s net in the second period of Game 2 against the Golden Gophers and did not return.
The 2020 seventh-round draft pick of the Nashville Predators skated in 17 games this season with three goals and six points, alongside a faceoff winning percentage of 53.4%, second-best on the team.
This isn’t the first time the 6-foot-2 player has been sidelined for a season, as he went down midway through the season after tallying five points in 19 games in 2020-2021.
The blue and white will have to do without his services as they travel to Madison to take on the No. 6 Wisconsin Badgers this Friday and Saturday.
