CFB Betting: Week 11

No. 4 Miami at Georgia Tech: Over 63.5 points

This should be a gimme due to the fact that Miami’s offense is an unstoppable force right now.

The Canes are averaging 47.4 points per game this season with their Heisman-hopeful quarterback Cam Ward.

Miami has put up 35 or more points in every single outing this year, but the defense on the other hand hasn’t been up to par the last handful of weeks.

With shootout wins over Cal, Louisville and Duke, Miami is geared up for another one this week when they head to Atlanta to face Georgia Tech.

You should absolutely pound the over in any matchup the Hurricanes are in the rest of the season because of their ability to move the ball with ease and the defense allowing 30-plus points in three of the last four outings.

No. 2 Georgia at No. 16 Ole Miss (+2.5)

The Bulldogs going on the road to a hostile environment in Oxford, Mississippi won’t be an easy task.

On a week-to-week basis we have no clue which Georgia team we will get. We could get the one against Bama and Mississippi State or the dominant Bulldog team we saw against Texas.

Quarterback Carson Beck has already thrown 11 interceptions this season, with him throwing three in each of his last two games.

On the other hand, the Georgia defense has been stellar in the last two meetings in wins over Texas and Florida.

Ole Miss enters Saturday’s matchup sitting at No. 16 in the first CFP rankings and needs a big win to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Jaxson Dart is fresh off of setting the Rebels records for passing yards and touchdown throws in a single game in a 63-31 win over Arkansas a week ago.

Outside of the loss to Kentucky earlier in the season, the Ole Miss offense has had no trouble moving the ball and lighting up the scoreboard this year.

The Rebels also have one of the best defenses in the nation and have 42 sacks on the year which leads the FBS.

It will be an interesting matchup on both sides of the ball Saturday, but give me Ole Miss to cover at home and maybe even win outright.

Washington (+13.5) at No. 6 Penn State

This is not as far-fetched as people might think. The Penn State defense is not as dominant as people make them out to be as they rank 51st in sacks.

Sure they might generate pressure but there has been a problem getting to the quarterback. Washington Quarterback Will Rogers should have time and space to work within the pocket and connect with his targets.

The Nittany Lions are coming off of a loss to Ohio State where they had the ball goal to go twice and did not come away with any points on both trips.

We have seen before Penn State struggle with opponents by playing down to their level and it would not shock me if that story plays out again in Week 11.

Look for the Huskies to keep it close and maybe we get the Penn State fall off after a big loss again this year like prior seasons.
