Centre County resident arrested for threats against Donald Trump
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - On Friday, Oct. 25th Centre County resident Paul J Gavenosis, 74, was arrested after being accused of making threats against Presidential nominee Donald J. Trump.
Gavenosis was arrested after talking about the Trump rally at the Penn State Transportation Office where she was there to purchase a parking pass. Gavenosis allegedly described climbing to the top of a tall building before saying “You can’t take a gun in or the students will see it.”
After that Gavenosis proceeded to make a gun-racking motion before saying, “I hate Donald Trump. I’d like to shoot that guy.”
After hearing this, the staff at the transportation office contacted the police and Gavenosis was taken in and was interviewed by the police and the U.S. Secret Service.
When arrested, Gavenosis reportedly said, “Frankly I hope somebody would get him,” and then mentioned having a rifle at home.
When asked if she had made a comment wishing that Donald Trump would be shot or if she could do it, the police wrote that she responded, “Probably, yeah.”
As a result of her statements, Gavenosis was charged with disorderly conduct and making terroristic threats.
Paul Gavenosis is being held in Centre County Jail with bail being denied.
