Best Song By a Reality Star
The Arts & Entertainment Department is proving that reality TV can drop more than drama! Here are the picks for Best Song by a Reality Star.

“It’s a Girl Party”- Mack Z
The hit Lifetime reality show “Dance Moms'” cultural impact on this world cannot be understated.
Maddie Ziegler went from being on the show to Sia’s music videos and Stephen Spielberg’s “West Side Story.” Jojo Siwa is one of the biggest names on the internet, whether people love her or love to hate her.
But the reality show about an absurdly intense dance team coached by harsh Abby Lee Miller has a treasure trove of iconic moments and
Zieglers younger sister Mackenzie spent the majority of the show in her sister's shadow. But Mackenzie Ziegler got a chance to shine when she transformed into Mack Z and released the epic “It’s a Girl Party.”
At nine years old, Mack Z sings about hanging out and partying with her friends, but only the girls. Lyrics such as “no boys around this is our one sacred rule, isn’t it enough we have to deal with them all day at school? ‘Cause we’ll be talking things, they just shouldn’t know. You know how boys are with their inflated, fragile egos" detail why it’s so important for Mack Z and the girls to have their own night.
The music video shows the “Dance Moms” girls at the studio and then out at a dance party, showing off the skills viewers of the show have come to love them for.
“It’s a Girl Party” is a fun bubble-gum pop song that one would expect from a nine-year-old. But for “Dance Moms” fans everywhere, it is the moment. -Sophia D’Ovidio

“Good as Gold” – Scheana Shay
Has anyone wondered how this article is going to affect Scheana?
Shay is arguably the reason why “Vanderpump Rules” was made, as she dated Eddie Cibrian while he was married to Real Housewife Brandi Glanville, castmate of Lisa Vanderpump. Thus, one of the greatest reality shows was born.
Season one Shay wants to be a pop star, performing two “hit” tracks, “What I Like” and “Good as Gold.” The latter she performs on top of a Pride Parade float, then at her own engagement party (and we all have the same reaction as Kristina Kelly).
With “Vanderpump Rules” set to resume filming this fall, “Good as Gold,” just like the Bravo goldmine, will never go out of style. -Adrianna Gallucci
