Best commercials from Super Bowl LIX

Lilo and Stitch

“Lilo & Stitch”

The upcoming live-action of the classic Disney film “Lilo & Stitch” was represented in a commercial at this year's Super Bowl, but not in the traditional way.

Rather than a traditional trailer playing, instead the commercial was presented like Stitch was interrupting the Super Bowl itself by running around the field, driving a cart, and grabbing a microphone.

It has followed a recent trend in Super Bowl ads in which they trick the audience into thinking the game is back on, only for something to happen to show that it is in fact a commercial. Another example would be the Tubi commercial from a couple of years ago.

It was a creative concept and is very much in line with Stitch himself and his need to constantly interrupt things. It harkened back to the marketing of the original film which had Stitch interrupting classic Disney films. - Nikolai Wagner

Liquid Death drink

Liquid Death

Most of the commercials during the 2025 Super Bowl were underwhelming and many were straight up weird, but some of them were really entertaining.

Liquid Death’s “Safe for Work” commercial used comedy to reference their brand name which often causes shock when consumers realize that Liquid Death is water, not alcohol.

The commercial initially looked like a big-budget one for beer, but the irony is that Liquid Death is a completely healthy drink, despite the name that has a completely different energy.

Their ad used an original song that repeated the phrases “drink on the job” and “everybody’s drinking on the job” as it showed clips of people in different professions drinking it including a pilot, surgeon, school bus driver and more.

The company’s ongoing tagline is “Don’t be scared, it’s just water,” which goes along with their already genius marketing strategy.

Liquid Death’s Super Bowl commercial was fun and comedic and definitely caught the audience’s attention. -Sarah Gavlak

Bud

“Big Men on Cul-De-Sac” Bud Light

What goes better than a cold beer and football?

It might be Post Malone and Shane Gillis. Two of the most “bro” like celebrities out there, they were the perfect match for Bud Lights vibe.

Bud Light had one of the funniest and most memorable commercials during Sunday’s broadcast as a lame party was brought to life by Post Malone and Gillis with the help of their giant Bud Light cooler.

Shooting beers out of t-shirt cannons to invite more people to the party which even got Peyton Manning out to the function. From the seemingly unlimited supply of beer to a grill, Gillis and Post Malone were able to help bring the vibes to this cul-de-sac bash.

Gillis and Post Malone are absolutely two people who would be the life of a block party. Bud Light absolutely hit the nail on the head pairing the superstar with the comedian, the commercial was funny and entertaining and would make anyone want a cold beer on a nice day. -Sophia D’Ovidio
