Ed Sheeran as a meme of himself
When it comes to being a memeable celebrity, Ed Sheeran is definitely near the top of that list.
So, when Sheeran dressed as the infamous monkey at the Apple Store meme of himself, it wasn’t just hysterical but also iconic.
It’s an easy costume, just Sheeran in a monkey onesie. It’s a simple costume that still looks like one, even without the context of this meme. However, Sheeran posing along with the meme on his phone makes this moment one that could possibly live on in internet lore for a long time.
The post caused a bit of a jump scare on social media feeds, but it was eye-catching and got people talking. Sheeran didn’t become one of the biggest artists in the world without knowing how to grab attention.

Sabrina Carpenter as Tinker Bell
It’s hard to think of one person having a better year than Sabrina Carpenter.
The “Short n’ Sweet” singer had a “spooky” edition of her concert as her stop in Dallas landed on Oct. 30.
Carpenter leaned into the holiday for her show, offering a unique experience for fans. The mic was brought out by a spider, her fake tattoo read “short n’ spooky” and in the “Juno” performance decided to yell “boo” to her audience after asking “have you ever tried this one.”
Carpenter had three costumes, starting the show as a Playboy bunny, then Sandy from “Grease” and covered “Hopelessly Devoted to You.”
But the best costume from Carpenter was her final one where the pop star dressed up as Tinker Bell. Considering Carpenter is 5 feet tall with long blonde hair, Tinker Bell is the perfect costume for her to dress up in.
If there’s ever some sort of live-action Tinker Bell in the works, Carpenter clearly looks the part and embodies the fairy with her physical appearance and attitude.
It was a cute costume that suited Carpenter well and helped make a successful tour have a special festive stop. -Sophia D’Ovidio
