“Die With a Smile”

Since his debut album 15 years ago, Bruno Mars has been hitting national and global music charts. Over the last summer, Mars joined alongside the influential pop singer Lady Gaga to produce a popular hit single, Die With a Smile.

Mars and Gaga’s song remains in the top three on global charts accessed through Apple Music after being released five months ago. With strong vocals, the artists put together a musical pop ballad about only wanting to be next to each other despite facing the end of the world.

The lyrics create an anthem of love that allows people to feel the cinematic emotion of devotion and romanticizing life. This makes the song a perfect choice for many major occasions including weddings and funerals.

The blend of each artist's voice makes a perfect melody and allows listeners to sing along in a heartfelt way. While Mars has a variety of great songs this is definitely in the competition for one of his best. Like many of his other songs, the musicality of this single will always be recognizable and allow listeners to feel such raw empathy. - Jessica Goldstein
