Every year Spotify Wrapped reminds me of how amazing my music taste is.

There is no surprise with my top artist whatsoever. Charli XCX has been dominating the music industry this year with “Brat Summer” and I have been listening nonstop.

My number one song in 2024 was Djo’s “End of Beginning,” which I listened to 83 times, making me in the top 0.05 percent of listeners. This has been one of my favorite songs for a couple of years now, so it is about time that it should appear on my Spotify Wrapped.

I am pleasantly surprised that two songs from Coco & Clair Clair made it to the top five. The release of their new album “Girl” happened at the end of August which is why I did not expect it to be so high on my list.

Additionally, Malcolm Todd, Frank Ocean, and Wallows were in my top artists, showing that my year had a well-rounded group of genres.

That is a wrap. I cannot wait to see what new artists I hyper-fixate on in the next year. - Allison Curley
