In this episode, the players went through one final twist before the merge, with the tribes being shaken up one last time.

The 12 remaining players were split into three tribes of four. The new Kele tribe included Steven, Jawon, Sage and Shannon. The new Uli tribe consisted of Alex, Kristina, Nate and Sophie. Finally, the new Hina tribe included Savannah, Rizo, Sophi and MC.

Right after being split into new tribes, the players immediately competed in a reward challenge, where Hina and Uli both won grilled cheese sandwiches, while the Kele tribe left with nothing.

The trend of Kele losing continued at the immunity challenge, where they again came up short and were sent to tribal council.

At first glance, the vote seemed to be an obvious one, as Shannon, Jawon and Sage were all on the original Uli tribe together.

However, since the start of the game, Sage has had a strong dislike for Shannon, a player with whom Sage has been on a tribe since the very beginning.

Shannon greatly annoyed Sage and was someone whom Sage had been wanting to vote out for some time.

Therefore, Sage took the tribe’s loss as a golden opportunity to get out her biggest pain in the game.

Sage was able to easily get Steven on board, as he was fine with anyone but himself. Jawon was a bit more hesitant, fearing what the old members of Uli would think of him voting out one of their own.

However, in the end, Jawon went along with Sage’s plan, and at tribal council, Shannon was blindsided. When Shannon went to hug Sage after getting voted out, Sage refused to hug her — the ultimate sign of her dislike.
