Reese's Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Pumpkins

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are already a perfect candy, but the pumpkin-shaped Halloween ones take those things to another level.

Sure, they don’t exactly look like pumpkins (more like oddly shaped ovals), but that’s part of the charm.

The real magic lies in the ratio of more peanut butter, slightly less chocolate, and a perfectly soft bite every time. Somehow, the seasonal shape makes them taste even better than the classic cups.

Forget the fancy wrappers or themed candies, these are the ones I always hoped to find in my trick-or-treat bag.

So if you’re handing out candy this Halloween, make sure you have the Reese’s pumpkins. Trust me, they’ll disappear first. -Madison Rush

starburst

Starburst

One of the greatest feelings a child can get is getting a big pack of these on Halloween. As a big fan of fruity candy, Starburst is a perfect option.

The fruity flavor is packed into each square to perfection, making each bite truly great.

The best flavor is easily orange, followed by red, then pink and lastly yellow. None of the flavors is bad, however, and each is delicious in its own way.

The Starburst company has tried making other products in the same vein, like Starburst Minis and Starburst gummies, and while they are good, they cannot measure up to the original.

It is not as common a Halloween candy as others, but when it does show up, it puts everything else to shame. - Nikolai Wagner

almond joy

Almond Joy

Trick-or-treating was always my favorite part of Halloween. I loved looking through the candy bucket at each house, searching for Milky Ways, Snickers and the occasional Almond Joy.

Since then, I have started to move away from any candy with nougat. On the rare occasion I eat candy these days, I usually go for Almond Joys, PayDays and Heath bars.

I’ve often been called an old man for enjoying these. Some have described my candy preference as “the first ones to go” when trading candy with their siblings on Halloween night.

I believe Almond Joys are the best because they aren’t too sweet, and the coconut flavor adds depth. I don’t like sour candy or ones that are too sweet, either.

I am very picky about my candy, but I don’t mind if people think my favorites are strange. More Almond Joys for me!
