NFL: Best bets for Week 7
The following article contains information that is not representative of the opinions of CommRadio. It solely expresses the opinions of Will Saltzman.
The NFL season is officially in full swing. Here are some bets that people can take a swing at.
Jaguars Moneyline at Rams (+135)
After losing to the Seahawks in week 6, the Jaguars are looking to bounce back against the Rams.
With Rams star Wide Receiver Puka Nacua questionable, it looks like the Jaguars' secondary has the upper hand.
The Jaguars seem to have the upper hand in the running game. Jacksonville has outrushed its opponents 744-549 in rushing yards.
They are away this week, but that shouldn’t stop people from taking the underdog in this game.
Patriots at Titans under 42.5 points
The Titans have shown time and time again that they cannot score for the life of them. They have failed to score 25 points all season.
The Patriots' nasty pass rush, with Milton Williams leading the charge, will stymie any rush from Tony Pollard and scramble from Cam Ward.
This under will ultimately hit if the Patriots don’t score 35+ points. One of the only strengths the Titans have is their defense, so it would be tough for the Patriots to score that much.
This game is destined to be a snooze fest for offense-minded fans. Defense is the name of the game. I’m taking the under.
Commanders Moneyline at Cowboys (-148)
The Cowboys’ defense is brutal. Their average points against per game is 30.7 (31st in the NFL).
On the other hand, their offense is one of the best in the league so far. They are number 1 in yards per game.
However, Washington’s offense and defense are much more consistent than the Cowboys.
The Commanders’ offense is 7th in points per game and is second in rushing yards per game.
Washington’s rushing attack is going up against a rough-looking rushing defense in Dallas. They are 29th in rushing yards per game.
If the Cowboys' defense keeps playing like traffic cones, they will not win this game. I’m going with the ‘Manders.
Falcons Moneyline at 49ers (+145)
The Falcons’ defense is suffocating. They held the Bills to 14 points on Monday Night Football.
If the Falcons can hold Josh Allen to under 200 passing yards, then they can definitely keep Mac Jones quiet.
It also won’t help that the injuries to the Niners keep piling up. They are going down like flies, with Fred Warner being the latest victim of the Niners’ injury bug.
With the heart of their defense out for the season, I expect Falcons Running Back Bijan Robinson to have a big game.
With all these pieces in place for the Falcons, I have them taking the win on the road.
